Over 24 years, he specialized in Latin American currencies—working extensively with the Brazilian real, Mexican peso, Chilean peso, and Argentine peso. His work took him across South America, where he built strong relationships and developed a substantial book of business.

In 2010, Peter founded Middle Island Management as a real estate management firm, which quickly grew to oversee 33 rental properties. Over time, the company expanded into real estate brokerage and development. Today, through Bellard Brothers, Peter leads construction projects across Long Island, Vermont, Florida, and New Jersey.

Outside of work, Peter’s greatest joy is his family. He is married to Brittany Bellard, and together they have three wonderful children—Grayson, Addison, and Logan. He spends as much time as possible skiing and snowboarding with them in Vermont during the winter and enjoying summers on the water, whether fishing or cruising on the Long Island Sound. Extensive travel with his family across the continent deepened his appreciation for thoughtful, enduring spaces that reflect both beauty and purpose.

Jose Cruz is a multilingual entrepreneur with a deep-rooted passion for family, real estate, and business. Born in the Dominican Republic, Jose pursued his university studies in Russia, where he not only earned his degree but also became fluent in Russian, German, and English alongside his native Spanish.

After graduating, Jose moved to the United States to help expand his father’s construction business. While establishing the company, he also managed three restaurants on Long Island, gaining valuable experience in commercial real estate, restaurant management, and business operations.

In 2010, Jose met Peter Bellard, and their friendship quickly evolved into a strong business partnership. Together, they built Middle Island Management, initially focusing on acquiring and managing rental properties, growing their portfolio to 33 homes. As the real estate market shifted, they successfully adapted their strategy—transitioning from rentals to house flipping and now specializing in raw land development. Today, they construct homes across Long Island, Florida, Vermont, and New Jersey.

Beyond his career, Jose is a devoted family man. He and his wife, Ascania, share a loving home with their children Emir and Gabriela—as well as his mother, who now lives with them from the Dominican Republic. William T. Bellard III, known as Bill Bellard, is a highly respected attorney and devoted family man with a career spanning nearly four decades in civil law. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Bill attended Nazareth High School, where he played four years of basketball and earned a merit scholarship to Stony Brook University earning his B.A. He then pursued his legal education at Brooklyn Law School, obtaining his J.D. and beginning a distinguished career in law.

In 1985, Bill co-founded the law firm of Marshall and Bellard with Reginald Marshall, specializing in civil defense litigation. Over the years, their practice expanded to include defense work for major insurance companies. As Bill approaches the later years of his career, he has shifted his focus to real estate law, serving as legal counsel for Bellard Brothers and Middle Island Management.

Outside of his legal career, Bill enjoys an active and fulfilling life. He splits his time between Naples, Florida, and Port Jefferson, Long Island, where he plays golf and tennis seasonally. An avid water enthusiast, he loves spending time boating and clamming with his five grandchildren—Chloe, Brooke, Grayson, Addison, and Logan. A devoted father to Doug and Peter, both integral to Bellard Brothers, and Brittany and Laura Bellard, Bill is also a loving husband to Eloise Bellard, with whom he has shared over 50 wonderful years of marriage. While at Citibank, she obtained her real estate license, uncovering her true passion for the industry. Since then, she has become the main producer for Middle Island Management, where she continues to thrive.

Outside of her professional life, Brittany makes time for her favorite activities, snowboarding with her family in Vermont during the winter and enjoying summers on the family boat cruising the Long Island Sound.
